I took a week off of drawing, but got right back to it.
As I mentioned last time, I'm on a new section of dragons: the water dragons. Technically, the swamp dragon should be in this section, but I have them characterized as "Noble Dragons" for story-related reasons. There are some physiological reasons for it too, but I'll save that for the field guide--which is supposed to be a companion to the story I'm writing.
Anyway, the first dragon in the water dragon category is the Lake Dragon.

Think Nessie, though I this one is a bit different. An alligator was an inspiration for this dragon--mostly for the legs. It also has a stubby snout--not like an alligator.
Anyway, that's the Lake Dragon.
