Creativity is a funny thing. I honestly believe there is no true unique ideas. Everything is the individual artist's interpretation of something else. That is not to say that you should copy things--far from it. But we can take inspiration from all sorts of places. When it comes to creature designs, look at nature to draw inspiration. I've been looking at lizards alot.
But I digress. On to the dragon designs.
The Steelie is the first design which is unique to me. The other dragon's I've posted about are my spin on common dragons. For example, the Mountain Dragon is your typical fire-breathing dragon. Wyverns are also common out there, and the Frost and Swamp are a pretty logical off-shoot of the others.
But the Steelie is my own design. Here is the pic of it:

I based the design off of a T-Rex and a pterodactyl. The most unique thing about the Steelie's design is the wings. They have knobs on the end in order to help them balance on two legs. Their front paws are tiny and pretty useless. You can see where my inspiration came from.
So that's that.
