After a little break I’m back with new dragon designs. Though I hadn’t been posting, I have continued to draw. Today I post my absolute favorite design.
This is the Sea Dragon. I imagine it bursting with beautiful sea blue and green colors. The Betta fish was my inspiration.
It obviously lives at sea. I suppose it likes to stay in relatively shallow waters or close to coral reefs--its coloring will keep it camouflaged there. But it can dive deep under water and stay there for hours. In my little universe, this dragon is the origin of the sailor’s tales of sea monsters and sea serpents destroying ships. It is a reclusive creature which is why so many false tales (and some true) have arisen around it.
